Columbia Bank is pleased to announce that Christopher Heath has been selected as an “Emerging Leader, Rising Star” by NJ Bankers.
Mr. Heath was selected due to his exceptional leadership, effective coaching, and strong customer service skills. An employee of Columbia Bank since 2003, Chris has held various positions in the Commercial Lending Division. In his current role he serves as Vice President, Sr. Commercial Lending Officer, where he manages his own loan portfolio and oversees a team of Commercial Real Estate lenders.
“Chris has shown a strong and consistent work ethic throughout his career at Columbia Bank,” said Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank. “Today, Chris serves many of the Bank’s largest clients, spearheads a Commercial Real Estate team and acts as a mentor to young professionals at the Bank. We are fortunate to have Chris as a part of the Columbia Team.”
Mr. Heath graduated from Ramapo College where he earned dual degrees in Business Administration and Marketing. He holds a Leadership Certificate from The Wharton School, is a graduate of the ABA Stonier School of Banking and completed the Bank’s Leadership Development Program.
Chris is an active member of the NJCPA, Garden State Credit Organization, NJ Builders & Remodelers and Commerce & Industry Association of NJ. He regularly volunteers his time at organizations such as Habitat for Humanity as well as CUMAC and serves as a Baseball, Basketball and Soccer coach for the Woodcliff Lake Education Department. Chris currently resides in Woodcliff Lake with his wife and two children.
