Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank, is proud to award Michael Campbell, SVP, Community Development Officer, with the community service lifetime achievement award. For over 20 years, Mr. Campbell has been focused on Columbia Bank's CRA and community service initiatives while simultaneously playing an active role in various local organizations. The award comes just before Mr. Campbell's retirement, scheduled for April 1, 2021.

Mr. Campbell presently is a member of the Paterson Rotary Club, NJ Bankers Compliance and CRA committee, the Newark Museum of Art's Business and Community Council and a board member of CUMAC. In addition, he currently supports the Paterson Housing Authority as an advisor. He is a Trustee of the Paterson Chamber of Commerce, where he is responsible for advising and supporting business opportunities for the city of Paterson.
He previously held roles as President and Co-Chairman of the Fundraising Committee for the Paterson Rotary Club, board member of Cranford's Monarch Housing, board member of his Jersey City Condominium Association, and Commissioner of the Jersey City Rent Leveling Board.
Within the Bank, Mr. Campbell has coordinated all volunteer opportunities and has historically been a Co-Captain of Columbia Bank’s March of Dimes Walk Committee. He previously won community service awards from the Bank in 2003, 2005, 2008, 2011, and 2016.
