Columbia Bank is proud to announce the completion of its 6th annual “Week of Giving,” an employee volunteer initiative focused on serving local communities. Over the course of two weeks, employees volunteered at 69 local organizations throughout the state. During the two weeks, the company encourages 100% of employees to participate on company time.

Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank. “While our giving efforts are ongoing throughout the year, our annual Week of Giving is a powerful event that shows how widespread our impact can be when working together. We are honored to work alongside so many impactful organizations and are thrilled to have been able to lend a helping hand during the holiday season.”
Columbia Bank’s efforts spanned across 14 New Jersey counties including, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, and Union. Volunteer projects included preparing and serving hot meals, donating and packing personal hygiene supplies, donating and packaging school supplies, carving turkeys to prepare food bags for Thanksgiving, collecting children’s toys and clothing, decorating healthcare service buildings for the holidays, painting homes and recreation centers, and assisting with winter crafts for children, seniors, and adults with disabilities, among many other initiatives intended to support the needs of various charitable organizations. Due to the week’s proximity to the holidays, Columbia Bank also donated over 100 turkeys to those in need.
