Columbia Bank is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest branch located at 1 Market Street in Camden, NJ. As part of the Bank’s ongoing commitment to serving local communities, the branch offers a full suite of consumer and business banking solutions, digital rate displays, a welcoming atmosphere, and seasoned professionals eager to assist.
Camden Mayor Victor G. Carstarphen, town Council members, Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank, bank executives, local Camden non-profits, and others, shared in the July 19th ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrations. The Camden branch welcomes visitors, and the first 200 customers will receive an exclusive gift, while supplies last.
“Columbia Bank has historically invested in branches because we know that communities appreciate a physical presence,” said Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank. “Our teams are actively engaged in the community, and we believe this branch will only enhance our impact. To date, we have partnered with local non-profits to fund affordable housing initiatives, neighborhood reinvestment, and economic development plans. We look forward to the continued partnership and are proud to deliver nationally recognized customer service and a community bank you can count on in Camden.”
As part of Columbia Bank’s community support efforts, the company is hosting its “Banking for a Cause” program. For each new checking or savings account opened at the location, $10 will be donated to one of the following Camden-based charities/non-profits of the customer’s choice:
- Camden County Historical Society
- Heart of Camden
- Hopeworks
- Latin American Economic Development Association
Furthermore, on October 31, 2024, the donations will be tallied, and Columbia Bank will provide additional funds to the designated local organizations:
- $2,500 given to the charity that receives the most donations
- $1,000 given to the charity with the 2nd most donations
- $500 given to the remaining charities
