Columbia Bank is proud to announce that Libby Bajgerova, Vice President, Senior Market Manager, has been selected as a “2024 NJBIZ Leaders in Finance Awards” honoree. Bajgerova was recognized for her outstanding dedication to business development, relationship building, and customer service. This honor also showcases her longstanding professional and philanthropic success within the community banking industry.
The Leaders in Finance Awards celebrate New Jersey’s top financial executives who contribute to the success of their companies and communities. Following an open nomination period, honorees were chosen by a panel of independent judges with experience in the financial field. The selections were based on the nominees’ involvement in their industries and communities, as well as their professional achievements. This year’s award program was open to candidates in the banking, corporate, investment, blockchain, and professional categories. A ceremony recognizing the honorees will take place from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM on April 18, 2024, at the Doubletree by Hilton Somerset Hotel and Conference Center.
With over 22 years at Columbia Bank, Bagjerova’s expertise includes business development, strategic sales programs, and people management within retail banking. During her tenure, she has developed a reputation of being a strong, motivational mentor, who emphasizes the value of the products the Bank provides. Bajgerova actively serves on the boards of the following nonprofit organizations, CareSparc Community, and the Lightbridge Academy Foundation. In addition, Bagjerova often volunteers her time at the University Hospital, Newark Beth Israel Hospital, Three Kings Day Celebrations, and delivering food and toy donations.
