[1] Yield Plus is a variable tiered rate consumer checking product and is subject to change after account is opened and at any time. Annual Percentage Yield (APY). Currently, for balances between $.01-$999.99 the APY is .05%, for balances between $1,000 - $9,999.99 - the APY is .10%, for balances between $10,000 - $249,999.99 the APY is 1.75%, for balances between $250,000 - $499,999.99 the APY is 1.75%, if your daily balance is $500,000.00 or more, the interest rate paid on the portion of your balance that equals or exceeds $500,000.00 is currently .10%. The annual percentage yield would range from 1.75%-0.92% with an assumed total balance of $1 million. To obtain the APYs quoted above we require a qualifying direct deposit or an online bill payment transaction to post to your account each statement cycle. Cycles where these requirements are not met, the lowest balance tier will apply, currently this APY is .05%. Fees may reduce earnings. Minimum balance to open this account is $0.01. If your daily balance is less than .01, no interest will be paid for that day. A daily minimum balance of $1,000.00 must be maintained each day of the statement cycle to avoid a monthly Maintenance Service Charge of $20.00. [2] Yield Plus Checking provides for a rebate of up to six (6) ATM surcharge fees or $20, whichever is less, for each statement cycle when you use your Columbia Bank Visa® Debit Card at domestic ATMs not owned or operated by us and the owners of such ATMs add a surcharge to your transaction. The refund of such surcharge fees will appear on your statement as a “credit.” The maximum rebate per 12 month cycle period is $240.
